WEEKLY REFLECTION ( JAN 7 - JAN 14 )

continued with the topic " A Day in the Country", I used flashcards, and a few slide presentations for making the class effective. During the week, i also dealt with the topic" Pronoun". I used advance organizer model to take the class. The class was an effective one. Students understood the concept clearly. I concluded the story "A Day in the country" on 14th December.    
                                                                 I was able to complete the second phase of school internship programme was successfully.The enriched experiences during the teaching practice helped me to understand the greatness of a teacher. It also helped me to gain self confidence to become a better teacher

WEEKLY REFLECTION ( DEC 31 - JAN 5)

After the Christmas holidays, the school re-opened on 31st December .  I started dealing with the story "A Day in the country " again. As the story was based on the theme Nature, pupils were interested to listen to it . on the same week i dealt with the topic Adverbs. For teaching this, i used Direct instructional method. It was an effective one.
                                              On January 1st 2019, during the assembly, the headmaster of the school conveyed the newyear wishes to everyone and also the teachers of the school distributed sweets to the teaching as well as the Non-teaching staffs.

NARRATION OF THE CONTENT

 The story “A SHIPWRECKED SAILOR” is a work of non-fiction by Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It tells the saga of Luis Alejandro Velasco,a twenty year old sailor, who was washed overboard during a storm in the middle of the Carribean sea,clinging to a life raft without food and water.

Gabriel García Marquez, also known as Gabo (March 6, 1927 – April 17, 2014) was a Colombian novelist, short-story writer, screenwriter, and journalist.He was best known for his novels One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967), The Autumn of the Patriarch (1975) and Love in the Time of Cholera (1985). 
He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in December 1982.
